MONOSAN® offers antibodies and reagents to the life science research community. As a brand name of Sanbio B.V. in the Netherlands, MONOSAN® started to market the first Anti-Rat T-cell monoclonal antibody in 1979. Over the last 40 years the range of antibodies has tremendously increased.

The MONOSAN® portfolio contains monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies and reagents which are being developed and commercialized either in our own laboratories or in collaboration with some of the leading universities and research institutes throughout Europe and the United States.

Additionally to the regular range MONOSAN® we offer:

MONOSAN® Xtra

MONOSAN® Xtra is a unique addendum to our regular MONOSAN® product line. The antibodies in the MONOSAN® Xtra range are especially selected for immunohistochemical (IHC) and Immunofluorescence (IF) research use on frozen and FFPE tissue sections. MONOSAN® Xtra monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies are proven to be of excellent quality and show high consistency.

MONOSAN® Ready-to-Use

To reduce histopathology workflows and eliminating the the variability of immunostaining, MONOSAN® designed a prediluted antibody line named MONOSAN® Ready-to-Use. This RTU line contains antibody products for immunohistochemical (IHC) use on frozen and FFPE tissue sections. The 7ml. and 15ml monoclonals (rabbit and mouse) and polyclonals are applicable for fully automated IHC systems and manual use.

MONOSAN® Reagents

Next to the regular antibody products, MONOSAN® offers MONOSAN® Reagents. This product line contains a huge portfolio of detection systems for immunohistochemistry purposes like MONOSAN®  Plus (AP) Polymer Kits, MONOSAN® Plus (HRP) Broad Spectrum Kits and MONOSAN® (HRP) Broad Spectrum Kits. The MONOSAN® Reagents detection kits are designed for the qualitative detection of antigens in fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections, in frozen tissue sections, and in cytological samples. (The kits are developed for use in combination with mono- and polyclonal primary antibodies and sera obtained from mouse, rabbit, rat, and guinea pig.)

At this moment the MONOSAN® range is marketed and sold worldwide through a network of approved and service-conscious suppliers. We are currently represented in more than 50 countries worldwide. The MONOSAN® trademark guarantees customers the highest quality of products and technical services available today for these types of research products. MONOSAN® supplies these products in commercial OEM quantities and formats to international life science and healthcare companies as raw materials for their own diagnostic products.
